April 6 - Hunting

Crouched. Beneath
the end table in the corner
I only noticed because your shoulder
or something hit the edge. You stayed otherwise
quiet. But I found you
and you screamed.
The lamp shook, giving away and
creating the shadows that make
the game worth playing.

Ready or not.

There are ways
to make noise that give
you answers.

Worry less about what you prove.
After you breathe, open your eyes
And watch more
than you move.
